I have a male Blenheim Cavalier named Jagger Roo. He is the love of my life. I have even told my husband that I think I love Jagger more than anyone or anything else in the world. We lost Jagger's big sissy a year and a half ago, she was a Ruby named Lucy. My heart is still very broken over her loss but Jagger helps me every day. I really enjoy your fb page thanks for all the great articles info and wonderful pics.

I lost my tri girl 6 months ago at 10 yrs old she had many problems PSOM, Heart Murmur, Idiopathic meningitis, she was a very strong girl, one thing she escaped was SM. We
missed her so much and are so in love with this breed we purchased another tri girl. We brought her home at 10 weeks
of age I knew something was not right as she yelped and was biting at her rear thigh. Yes it is confirmed now with a MRI that this poor little girl has SM. We had to wait until 6 months for the MRI. Right now she is on gabapentin 3 X daily. We are looking into surgery for her ( the vet wants to wait one more month due to her young age) Has anyone on this site have done the surgery and what was your outcome? She is affected at C1 to C3. This is the only site I could find that I truly find amazing. Please if anyone can help me please contact me. Thanks Charlene

On the 5th November we sadly lost our 7yr old Blenheim Cavalier "Oscar". Since April he had been suffering from facial palsy which was diagnosed via an MRI scan in Chester, we also found out he had SM. 7 months later we had to sadly put him to sleep as the condition worsened. We miss him everyday * * *

Cavaliers are the most sweetest of breeds. Our first one was blind in one eye had the usual heart murmur and also lost the use of his back legs so we purchased a wheelchair for him. He lived to 18.5 years old!!

Our second one has cushings so has the classic pot belly, pants all the time and has a heart murmur and is also deaf.

But I love them so much. They really are the most wonderful breed ever!
